FORMULA 1 BAHRAIN

Formula 1 Bahrain through an American Artist’s Eyes developed from two years of close observation of the Bahrain Grand Prix. Erin McGee Ferrell translates speed, machinery, spectacle, and the desert environment into paintings concerned with motion, perception, and cultural encounter.

The body of work was presented as a solo exhibition during Bahrain’s 2024 Spring of Culture. A work from the project entered the permanent collection of the Bahrain International Circuit.
