Join internationally recognized painter and art professor Erin McGee Ferrell for a dynamic 3-day plein air workshop capturing Kentucky’s elite equestrian culture. Through live demonstrations, guided drawing sessions, one-on-one instruction, and critique discussions, participants will deepen their ability to observe, interpret, and render the movement, anatomy, and spirit of horses using ink washes and expressive sketching techniques.
This is a process-focused experience designed to build confidence in gestural mark-making, tonal composition, and quick-sketch observation in real-time settings.
Participants are responsible for meals and accommodations. We recommend staying in Georgetown, KY for its central location. Lodging options: https://www.georgetownky.com/lodging/unique-stays
