Girl and Horse Series 2. Determined. Detail
As a professional working visual artist, my passion is oil painting. I lecture and teach on merging traditional oil painting techniques with new technology and materials.
In my Kentucky Studio I have begun a new series of large oil on canvas works entitled, Girl and Horse. This series holds my interest on many levels. One part is my intrigue with the Middle East and at the same time re-establishing myself back in my home state of Kentucky. I use the thoroughbred horse as a common thread. Erin McGee Ferrell is a Master Oil Painter, and has taught Visual Communication and Design to Medical students at The University of New England.
