Erin McGee Ferrell

Erin McGee Ferrell (b. Louisville, Kentucky, USA) is an internationally exhibiting visual artist whose practice centers on large-scale oil painting as a language of place, memory, and lived experience. She received a BFA in Studio Art with a minor in African Studies from Mount Holyoke College and holds a Teaching Artist Certificate from the University of the Arts, Philadelphia. Her formation includes immersive study in Nigeria and Italy, grounding her practice in observation, material rigor, and cross-cultural awareness. Ferrell’s work has been exhibited internationally, with projects in Saudi Arabia, Bahrain, the United Arab Emirates, South Korea, and North America, including the Jeju Art for Earth Festival, World Art Dubai, and Bahrain’s Spring of Culture. She has participated in researchbased residencies with Columbia University, Arizona State University, and the National Cancer Institute. Ferrell lives and works in Louisville, Kentucky.
